Project Overview
The property is situated in the historic area knowns as Blackpitts, just off Clanbrassil Street Lower and was refurbished from a semi-derelict open plan warehouse into a functional commercial office.
The loading bay includes an old conveyor belt machine, that was integrated into the design and still in use today. Responding the brand guidelines, we use key colours to great effect, balancing the clients contemporary identity with industrial features of the original architecture.
Brief:
Camino Ways, a travel agency based in Dublin with a young multinational team, had outgrown their original office space and chosen a disused warehouse close to Clanbrassil Street. Camino Wags wanted a robust, future-proof workplace, taking into consideration that the team in anticipate to expand rapidly in coming years, As the budget was extremely limited for a scheme of this size, we had to work hard to value engineer each and every element of the design to get maximum design impact and functionality from the space.
